When We first started lashing, we only knew how to use 0.20 lashes. We didn't know anything about the different diameters and we couldn't tell the difference. We thought the thicker the lash the better and they'll stand out more.
We were wrong and learned that everyone cannot handle a 0.20 lash no matter the length. Using the wrong diameter cause damage, pain and make the lashes look unappealing.⠀⠀⠀

We suggest 0.15 for most Classic sets unless the client has very healthy lashes but we still rarely use 0.20 thickness.
If you're a new lash tech I suggest mastering Classic and Hybrid before offering Volume‼
Do not rush yourself to perform all sets. It's okay to only offer Classic or Hybrid. You'll actually make more money offering a set that you've mastered instead of spreading yourself thin.

Improper attachment could be causing your clients to have poor retention. This can also happen when applying the lashes on top of the natural lash. Remind yourself to pay attention to the angle of the natural lash and angle your tweezers the same way to get maximum base attachment. Oh and make sure you’re using enough glue.
