Indole butyric acid is an organic substance, soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, ether and ethanol, but hardly soluble in water. It is mainly used for rooting cuttings, which can induce the formation of root protozoa, promote cell differentiation and division, facilitate the formation of new roots and the differentiation of the vascular bundle system, and promote the formation of adventitious roots of cuttings.
