Oilwell downhole filter is a perforated casing tube with holes, blanked off  by shearing plugs.

 

Filters are made according Russian Standard.

Filters designed to remove sand and other mechanical impurities of liquids and gases are installed as part of the casing pipe in the area of the productive formation in oil and gas production, as well as water and injection wells. Filters can be suspended in cased wells on special packers. The technical characteristics of the filter are selected taking into account the granulometric composition of the rocks to ensure:

·         reliable protection against mechanical impurities of oilfield equipment;

·          long effective period of sand protection without blockage;

·         high resistance to damage and deformation, including wells with intervals with large drift angle;

·         high performance and low resistance against fluid flow;

·         high resistance to corrosion from acid, alkali and salt;

·         easy movement of the filter over long distances in horizontal sections of the wellbore;

·         large filtration area and high permeability.

The required length of the filtering part is determined by the customer's geological service and is provided by connecting separate filters (nipples and couplings) to achieve the required length. Thread type is made at the request of the Customer.
