Product Description


The carbon dioxide generator is a machine designed to supplement carbon dioxide in greenhouses in winter. It solves the direct decomposition of ammonium bicarbonate to produce carbon dioxide and successfully solves the two major problems of sealing and ammonia absorption during the reaction. CO2 is the carbon source for photosynthesis. Experimental studies have shown that if the CO2 concentration is increased from the atmospheric concentration (about 300ppm) to 1000ppm, the photosynthetic efficiency of plants can be more than doubled; and if the CO2 concentration is reduced to 50ppm, photosynthesis stops due to lack of raw materials. The co2 concentration is within 100-2000ppm, and the crop yield increases with the increase of the co2 concentration.


 


The role of co2 gas fertilizer


 


Increase production. The co2 concentration required during the growth period of the greenhouse vegetables is generally 1000ppm, while the co2 concentration under the closed shed after sunrise is 30-50ppm. At this concentration, the crops endure for 1 hour a day, and after 7 days, the roots are weak, the seedlings are thin, and the flower bud differentiation is weakened. Applying CO2 gas fertilizer at this time can make the crop grow stronger, increase chlorophyll, increase female flowers and lower fruit position. The yield of general solanaceous vegetables can increase by 20%-39%, and the yield can reach over 60%.


 


Increase sugar. In winter, tomatoes and other fruits have weak taste and poor taste. In addition to insufficient light and temperature, low CO2 concentration is the main factor. Increasing application of CO2 gas fertilizer can increase fruit sugar and improve product quality.


 


Disease resistance. According to observations, the incidence of downy mildew and virus diseases in greenhouse vegetables using CO2 gas fertilizer was significantly lower than that of those without CO2 gas fertilizer.
