1. Hydrocarbon synthetic perfume. It is mainly used as the starting material of various terpene synthetic perfumes, and used in the production of citral, citronellol, hydroxycitronellal, geraniol, linalool, ionone, methyl ionone and menthol. β - pinene is the product of turpentine fractionation. It is mainly used in perfume production and is one of the important raw materials for the synthesis of β - pinene resin and the production of vitamin E.
