Garganega. from the historic Classico zone, which lies between the quaint medieval town of Soave itself and the Monteforte d’Alpone. in stainless steel tanks. bright straw yellow. floral flavour with delicate hints of white fruits, especially apple. harmonic, savoury, extremely elegant and pleasant, it combines acid freshness with bitter almond after taste typical of this variety of vine.
The vineyards
Our 150 hectares of specialised vineyards in the hills of the DOC Valpolicella, Soave, and Garda growing areas, where we grow our finest grapes. An uninterrupted circular process ensures a seamless production chain that guarantees reliability, security and sustainability.
Rocca Sveva, indeed, has undertaken the voluntary programme V.I.V.A., promoted by the Ministry for the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea, which uses 4 indicators-growing area, air, vineyards, water to analyse the sustainability of our production.
Our commitment is to reduce use of weedkillers and fungicides as we make strides towards an agriculture that respects the environment and natural ecosystems as much as possible.
The objective is the continuous reduction of environmental impacts.
Tasting notes & Food Pairing
Colour: Luminous straw yellow.
Nose: Floral and fruit-rich, with delicate notes of whitefleshed fruit, particularly apple.
Palate: Balanced, full-flavoured, extremely elegant and pleasurable, marrying an initial crispness to a finish of bitter almond classic to the grape variety.
