A study published in 2012 focused on the effects of HBOT preconditioning and its protective properties against Ultraviolet-A (UV-A) induced skin damage. Three groups of hairless mice were exposed to UV-A, three days a week for22 weeks, with two of the groups receiving HBOT pretreatment either two or four times a week. UV-A exposure amplified skin cell death, signifying elevated levels of skin damage. Pretreatment with HBOT substantially reduced UV-A induced cell death. In addition, HBOT pretreatment prevented skin creasing and maintained skin elasticity.

When the chamber is pressurization, yours ears may feel pressure changes. 3. How does hyperbaric oxygen chamber work
Hyperbarics is a technology in which the air pressure in the environment is increased. When a person's body is placed in a more pressure environment, it absorbs more oxygen molecules per volume of compressed air.The body normally transports oxygen via the hemoglobin of the red blood cells. By increasing the air pressure, oxygen is then driven into the body's fluids, allowing a super-saturation of tissues and organs with oxygen. The increased pressure infuses the body with oxygen, even reaching injuries with damaged circulation.
4. When will i know how many sessiona of hbot are enough?
You will not. What you will be able to notice is whether you are continuing to get improvements. A clinical study on 1730 subjects shows the need of around 15 sessions for acute injuries and 40 for chronic ones. If you saw results during the first 40 sessions, do another 40. If improvements continue, do another 40 Etc. You are a better judge of teh number od sessions needed than any doctor.
