Product Description
The hydrocyclone is the equipment of taking water as medium to classify and separate mineral particles in the centrifugal force field with tens to hundreds of times acceleration of gravity. According to its different application, it can be divided into grinding classification hydrocyclone, ultrafine classification hydrocyclone, desliming hydrocyclone, concentrated hydrocyclone and so on.
Haiwang FX series hydrocyclones are widely applied in grinding classification, concentration, dewatering, desliming, ultrafine classification and tailings filling, damming, recovery and other processes in ferrous and non-ferrous metal mines. The business spreads over thousands of mines throughout the country and the products have been exported to more than 40 countries and regions, such as Australia and Russia etc.
Working principle
Slurry or liquid mixture is fed into hydrocyclone through inlet under a certain pressure. Under centrifugal force, large particles will move downwards along outer swirling flow and be discharged through apex as underflow while fine particles will move upwards through inner swirling flow and be discharged from vortex finder as overflow.
