Our Radon monitor is a professional home measuring device that combines ease of use and performance. It allows you to take a reading of the radon levels hourly, daily, weekly and long-term concentrations. Powered by a rechargeable lithium battery that can last up to 30 days ones fully charged. The radon monitor makes it easy to take measurements from one room to another in order to get an overview of the concentrations of the radon gas in a home, workplace, school, a daycare center or any other location. Our monitor is also an essential tool to use when performing property inspections or when checking the operation of a radon mitigation system.
Key Features to Remember:
Long Term Average
The long-term average measurement mode is the average radon value over the last year (updated once every hour). Is mostly used to identify any potential health risk.
Short Term Average
The short term average alternates between showing the radon value over the last day (1 DAY – updated every hour) and over the last 7 days (7 DAYS – updated every hour). The short term average is used primarily to see the effect of measures to reduce the radon level - for example by increasing the ventilation.
Coefficient of Injury
It is used for easier results interpretation. The “Coefficient of Injury” increases by +1 bar when long-term average increase by 0.7pCi/L, maximum is 10. And the “WARNING” indicator light will flash when the coefficient of injury is 5. Also, the flash frequency increases with the increase of the coefficient of injury.
