Working Principle

When power is turned off, the liquid crystal scatters incident light and is in an opaque state. When energized, the liquid crystal molecules are ordered in the direction of the electric field, and the liquid crystal transmits incident light in a transparent state. It can be pasted on various transparent materials such as glass and acrylic.

Switchable PDLC glass and film are green energy-saving material: For self-adhesive switchable PDLC film, it could block almost 99% UV and block about 19% IR.
