The wood chipper AM-120D is designed for processing and utilization by cutting branches, laths, boards, slats and other wood waste. The shredder of the branches turns the raw material into pieces with a length of 9 ... 18 cm, this size is not regulated but depends on the diameter (thickness) of the raw material. The chopper AM-120D is able to cut branches up to 12 cm in diameter, depending on the moisture and wood species. Chopped branches are ideal fuel for pyrolysis and solid fuel boilers, fireplaces, stoves and other heating appliances, as well as for the production of charcoal.
The productivity of wood chipper AM-120D is 6 cubic meters of ready products per hour. Productivity directly depends on the quality of raw material preparation and the number of personnel involved in the work.
The grinder of branches AM-120D is equipped with a diesel engine of the brand WEIMA with a capacity of 14 hp. and equipped with an electric starter. This engine is one of the most high-quality on the territory of Ukraine, service centers are located in each region. The engine is protected against overload by a special friction clutch of our design. The engine has a separate warranty from the manufacturer for a period of 12 months.
The working element of the chopper is knives. The AM-120D grinder has 6 knives, the knives are made of AISI 5140 steel, have a double angle of grinding and necessarily pass the heat treatment process on a modern HDTV installation. Cutting knives areinserted into the milled groove of the working shaft, this technology significantly reduces the load on the fixing bolts of the knives.
The wood chipper AM-120D is installed on a rigid frame from a profile pipe that has paws with which it is possible to fix the grinder of branches on any convenient surface (for example, an automobile trailer). In the configuration AM-120D the frame is additionally equipped with removable wheels. Front mounted swivel wheels with fixtures, rear pneumatic wheels. You can order AM-120D in a complete set without wheels, or order them separately.
A direct discharge hopper is installed on the branch grinder AM-120D for bulk shipment of crushed raw materials. Also, the input hopper is equipped with a curtain made of transparent PVC to protect the operator from chips during operation
The wood chipper AM-120D is completely produced at our enterprise. We control the quality of all stages of our production, all landing surfaces are obligatory grinding. Quality control of welded joints is carried out. Before painting, all constructions are stripped. The shredder is covered with powder paint, which significantly extends the life of the constructions.

Q: What are the main consumables for branch chippers?
A: The main consumables are knives. They need to be sharpened once for 200-300 cu. meters of firewood. Also periodically it is necessary to change the wedge-shaped belts, oil and the filter of the gasoline engine.
Q: What else can the wood chipper cut?
A: Our wood chippers successfully cope with rolls of wall-paper, paper spools, contraband cigarettes, corn stalks, a vine and td.
Q: What is the minimum thickness of a branch that your chippers can cut?
A: The gap between the knives is less than one millimeter. All that is thicker will be cut.
Q: And if I am pulled into the chopper?
A: The length of the inlet hopper won't let you touch the knives, but I recommend not to test this. Moreover, on some models there is safety frame with filum switch.
Q: What is the term of knives working ability?
A: One sharpening of knives is enough to cut 200-300 cub. meters of recycled material. After that you may sharpen the knives again.
Q: For which boilers is chipped wood suitable?
A: The products received in process of work with wood chippers can be used for pyrolysis and solid fuel boilers, fire stoves and also while production of charcoal.
Q: What would happen if I pull the branch of bigger diameter into the chipper?
