Brief Introduction
Reverse osmosis, a membrane separation operation that uses a pressure difference as the driving force to separate the solvent from the solution. Because it is in the opposite direction to natural infiltration, it is called reverse osmosis. According to the different osmotic pressure of various materials, a reverse osmotic pressure greater than the osmotic pressure can be used, that is, the reverse osmosis method, to achieve the purposes of separation, extraction, purification and concentration.
Working Principle
Using a special high-pressure water pump, the raw water is added to a pressure of 6-20 kg, so that the raw water permeates through a reverse osmosis membrane with a pore size of only 0.0001 micrometers under the action of pressure. Chemical ions and bacteria, fungi, and virions cannot pass through. They are discharged with the waste water, and only water molecules and solvents with a volume less than 0.0001 microns are allowed to pass.
