All MidNite circuit breakers are rated for 100% continuous duty! Better than a fuse since it will only trip when a short circuit will occur as the fuse will burn and a new one will be needed.
Also, it is very helpful when you want to work on your solar system as you can just put the breaker to off and do the job safely.
We recommend to us a breaker between the solar panel and the charge controller and one between the charge controller and the batteries.
