 Monocrystalline corundum is melting in high temperature. Its characteristics are: Gray color or yellowish, high hardness, great roughness, good grain shape, crush- resistant, less grinding heat. It is the good roughness grinding material. It is applied in making high degree cutter and grinding tools.
Abrasives tools that are made of monocrystlline corundum are hardier, more rough than white fused alumina. It can improve grinding efficiency and workpiece quality and reduce grinding consumption.
