Instead of scattering light, Road Marking Micro Glass Beads / Glass Microspheres turn the light around and send it back to the direction of the driver's headlights. This property allows the motorist to clearly see the pavement line markings more clearly at night and in wet conditions.

During the process of road work, drop glass bead onto the road line painted with thermoplastic paint which is heated to certain temperature while the paint is still wet, thus to increase the reflectivity of road marking. 

During the production of highway painting, put glass bead into paint based on the ratio of 18%-25% (weight percentage), so that the highway paint can still keep reflectivity during wear and friction.

Production of Glass Microspheres

Glass Bead is a spherical abrasive manufactured by crushing soda lime glass. The crushed glass is then shaped into round beads by in a furnace.
