Product Description
Inflatable rubber boom is specially developed for the containment of oil floating on the surface of water. It is suitable for use in most harbors, terminals and sheltered coastal areas. Shifting in response to an emergency, its main accessories include a power station, an inflator, a tractor, a reel frame and a container. It has been selected by many offshore oil spill response organizations due to its durability, sea-keeping, ease of maintenance and stability under tow.
Features
- 1. Its framework is made of the double-layer, high strength nylon canvas coated with the oil resistant, ageing resistant, high quality synthetic rubber
- 2. The unique air valve design allows for easy and speedy inflation and perfect air-tightness
- 3. Elastic rods are arranged between chambers to make the boom quite stiff to effectively prevent waves from overtopping
- 4. The tight tensile ballast chains are the barrier preventing the boom body from being broken
- 5. Either the luminous marking or the color of the rubber coated on the boom can be chosen for easier identification
- 6. The flame retardant rubber boom can be chosen for the occasion where the high fire rating is required
It can be supplied with such accessories as boom tractor, trail rope and anchor block according to the customer’s order.

Qingdao huahai environmental protection industry Co., Ltd is located in the center of haibin industrial zone in Qingdao, China, which covers a total land of 92,713 square meters and has about 30,000 square meter construction facilities and 500 employees, including 120 technical engineers.
In 1990, the company successfully developed series oil spill response equipments, including oil containment booms, oil skimmers etc. In 1994, it was renamed Qingdao Huahai Environmental Protection Industry Co., Ltd, which developed rubber dams in 1996 and took the lead in obtaining the ISO9002 Certificate in 1998. In 2000, Huahai introduced new equipments and advanced technology to improve productivity. In 2008, Huahai invested 3 million RMB in production of oil sorbent mats and took part in the operation to clean enteromorpha prolifera from the water area in Qingdao where the 29th Olympic Regatta and Beijing Paralympic Sailing Event were held.
Huahai owns entire production lines of rubber dam and oil spill response equipments, mainly including skimmers, oil booms, storage facilities, oil spill monitoring systems and oil spill recovery boats etc.Huahai has six branches currently and keeps the trend of group development under the circumstance of blue economy.
