APPLICATION & USES

Distilled coconut fatty acid is widely used in the cosmetic industry (soaps, bath products, personal care, and household and industrial cleaning products). It acts as a surfactant, cleansing agent, emulsifier, and foam booster. It’s easy to formulate and mix with other fatty substances. DCFA and its esters are also used in the manufacture of intermediates for textile finishing, leather finishing, finishing fibers, lubricants, and metalworking fluids.
