Steel Ratchet Hand Winches: Model MR (Type-SI)

With a ratchet handle, the model MR hand winches can be hoisted and unwound with left and right reciprocating motion. You can work directly on the wall or floor even in a narrow space where you cannot rotate the handle. This model can also be used as a rotating winch like the model GM.

This type is fit for schools, public facilities, places accessible to unidentified numbers of people, or other places where the winch may malfunction if its stopper arm, which is able to release the brakes, protrudes from the system itself.

With the stopper mechanism contained in a hermetically enclosed special clutch cover, you can work to wind up and down the target equipment without the risk of malfunction.

The Type-SI can be manufactured for all stainless steel and all steel hand winch models.
When ordering, please specify, for example, MR-5-SI, ERSB-5-SI.

A fail-safe mechanism is employed for the mechanical brake. The method of anchoring the wire rope to the drums is a fail-safe structure with a special drum that an extra maintenance winding is maintained. Users can easily and surely anchor the end of a wire rope to the drum by using the attached hex wrench. The above features are all enabled thanks to our unique reliable safety design.






* Stopper Armless (SI) Type
