Reciprocating Traction Endless Hand Winches: Model ME
These are a series of the world's first manual winches for reciprocating traction with 2 drums. Unlike capstan drum types, these winches are epoch-making in that they can be used not only in sideways traction but in moving up and down as well. Two types of brakes are also available, one for moving up and down and another for sideways traction.
This winch has 2 drums that rotate the same direction at the same time with several special wire rope grooves and 2 pressure rollers attached on each drum. It provides a stable pulling power in both directions and prevents loosing the wire rope with only one main body. This winch is effective in pulling left and right directions on a horizontal plane. It is also possible to pull in one direction such as towing because the synergistic effect of the drum with special wire grooves and pressure rollers provide a firm grip on the wire rope. It is small and lightweight so it can be used in various locations.
We also have two types of brake systems "B" for lifting and "L" sideways pulling.
When ordering, please specify, for example, ME-5-B, ME-5-L.

WHY MAXPULL
Mechanical Brake Type(B):
It is screw type mechanical brake that is used the weight of the load. Brake automatically works only in the operation of the handle.
It is effective for the lifting work and it is an automatic brake in one direction. In the horizontal endless pulling, however, the mechanical brake does not work when the extremal force toward the winch acts on the pulling load because the mechanical brake does not work by the direction of the torque that applied to the drum.
Therefore, in general pulling work, it is recommended to select the latching brake type.
Latching Brake Type(L):
It is brake system to keep the state of the winch intact when the brake is applied.
While the brake is being applied, it is impossible to move in both (lifting and lowering) directions.
It is useful when the load should not be moved by external factors.
When the brake is being released, the winch cannot be used for lifting work because it is the free state.
Never use "L" brake for lifting vertically or on the slope.
* Ease of operation
If you compare our product with others, the handle force during operation is very small and work is easy because of its high-level mechanical efficiency. This winch is light and very convenient to carry for the compact design. Users can install the winch easily using the prescribed bolts. In addition, the each part is made by press work and the whole of winch is assembled with bolts, so it is easily disassembled. Anyone can repair and assemble this winch by just purchasing necessary replacing parts and installing them according to the instructions in the manual.

Ball bearings only from leading manufacturers are used for all bearings. The bearing allows smooth lifting and offers outstanding resistance against wear. Our unique profile shifted gear that performed special heat treatment is used for the gear reducer, and it allow you to work securely. The automatic brake has outstanding durability because it has the mechanism that can adjust the gap as desired. Baking finish performed on the surface is resistant to rust. It is strong and can be used in any location.

Carefully selected materials as well as advanced design and technology provide the extremely high safety. We have enhanced the strength of the portions where load is intensively applied by combining a precision press-processing rib or double plate. A fail-safe mechanism is employed for the mechanical brake. The method of anchoring the wire rope to the drums is a fail-safe structure with a special drum that an extra maintenance winding is maintained. Users can easily and surely anchor the end of a wire rope to the drum by using the attached hex wrench. The above features are all enabled thanks to our unique reliable safety design.
