"PlastCom" LLC was established in 2009 as a production company, carrying out its activities in the field of production of polyethylene products (garbage bags, bags for foodstuffs). Originally, several units of used equipment for production of garbage bags were purchased for the personal money of the owners and cooperation was established with small chain stores of the city and wholesale-retail companies trading in household goods. High results were achieved for a short period of operation.
In 2011, the Company took part in the tender for supply of garbage bags and bags for "O'Key" LLC chain of stores www.okmarket.ru/about/ selling the products under its own trademark: "What you need". For participation in the tender, a lot of work was done on preparation of production, warehouse and household premises, certification of products. In early 2012 a contract was signed with O'Key.
A contract with a large federal network of the country allowed the company to reach a new level of its development. In 2012-2013, contracts were also signed with Verny chain of stores (www.verno-info.ru)/shops ("Union of Saint John the Warrior", LLC), "Lenta" LLC chain of stores (lenta.com/o-kompanii/istoriya), "X5 Retail Group". (www.x5.ru/en/Pages/About/Overview.aspx), "National Factoring Company" Bank established the limits of factoring service. Factoring allowed the company to increase the output, and meet the requirement of chains on deferred payments 45-90 days.
In 2013, due to the growth of business volumes, "Crocus-Group" LLC Trade Company was established. "Crocus-Group" LLC concluded contracts with the chains for supply of household goods. The company began to supply not only bags and packages, but sponges, kitchen wipes, mops, baking foil, food wrap, microfiber dusters, and other household products. The company also manufactures products under its own trademark. "Fresh Up"
New contracts appeared: with CJSC "Tander". ("Magnit" stores (www.magnit.com/ru/), "Freshness Manufactory", "O'Key", "Lenta", "X5", and others.
In 2015 we entered the discount chains market by signing a contract with "Best Price" chain (fix-price.ru/about/), in 2017 began supplies for "Svetofor GC" chain (svetofor-nsk.ru/history.html), "Dixy" (https://dixy.ru/about/), "Market Da" (market-da.ru/about.html)
The earned profits of the business were invested in upgrade and purchase of new equipment. The fleet of production equipment is renewed for 95%. Expensive Italian and Korean equipment was purchased. Today, the total amount of main equipment exceeds 100 units.
In 2018, KOTLIN-GROUP LLC launched a non-woven fabric production line.
Monthly output of finished products is 350 tons.

The products manufactured by "Kotlin-Group" LLC are also purchased by "Crocus Group" LLC, where they are cut and packaged on special equipment in small rolls. Due to increase in the volume of orders, Crocus Group LLC purchased additional equipment for folding and cutting rolls. Now a new equipment workshop is located at Crocus Group site.
The launch of the new shop took place in January 2019. The new workshop is part of the full production cycle "from raw materials to roll". In 2020, the company doubled the production of garbage bags and packages to 400 tons per month, having commissioned additional 43 units of production equipment, as well as launched the plastic wastes recycling production with capacity of 150 tons per month.
The main supplier of raw materials for production of garbage bags and packages is LUKOIL, with which a direct contract is concluded for supply of polyethylene pellets. Direct contract with the largest pellet manufacturer allows to establish uninterrupted supplies of raw materials at beneficial prices.
The main buyers of the Group of the Company today are major federal chains of the country. ("Pyaterochka", "Okey", "Perekrestok", "Best Price", "Lenta" ; "Svetofor GC", "Magnit");-70% of all supplies of finished products are kitchen wipes, garbage and packaging bags, other household goods for cleaning).
Products intended for the beauty segment made of non-woven fabric account for 30% of sales volume: strips for depilation, lint-free wiping materials for manicure, non-woven collars, towels, sheets and other disposable products. Significant growth in the volume of sales in this area occurred in 2020 and was due to a number of reasons:
Because of the pandemic, the supply of imports from China decreased sharply, the cost of logistics of imported goods increased significantly, and shortage of products formed.
1. The devaluation of ruble increased the competitive advantages for the Russian manufacturer.
2. We managed to create a quality product which was highly appreciated by the market participants.
3. The speed of products supply, price and payment terms became attractive for large market players who increased the order volumes.
It should be noted that successful growth of the company was contributed by the strong material base owned by the company.
