Located in the Salento plain, the Azienda Agricola San Martino extends with its 6000 olive trees in the countryside of Mesagne and Torre Santa Susanna in the province of Brindisi, places that preserve the precious centuries-old olive trees and boast a millenary experience in olive growing.
Raffaele Sanasi, a young engineer and owner of the San Martino farm, dedicates himself entirely to the family business, following in the footsteps left by his father Francesco, and before that by his grandparents Raffaele and Francesco, both olive growers and oil millers.
Cellina di Nardo, Ogliarola Salentina, Coratina, Leccino, Frantoio, Pendolino, Picholine, Peranzana and Nocellera del Belice are the cultivars on the farm. From these varieties originate monocultivar and blend of the highest quality.
The flagship of the Azienda Agricola San Martino is represented by the modern certified organic mill for cold extraction, built by Raffaele in the same building that housed the old mill managed by his grandfather and where he spent some time of his childhood, without knowing that in adulthood he would do the same gestures, grind the olives, bottle the oil, and label the bottles.
The organic extra virgin olive oil produced by the San Martino farm is the result of the experience and work of a family. An oil of excellence able to satisfy the most demanding palates and which contains, in its soft wheat colour, the aromas and flavours of the Apulia of the past.
