Sibania is an Italian company located in Vicenza. Italian handcrafted and the artisan workshop tradition are the bedrock of our constant research on materials and on production techniques.

From the porcelain paste to the manufacturing, production is entirely developed into our workshops in Isola Vicentina, where our skilled artisans, designers and painters meticulously refine every figurine and give every face its own expression.

Inspired by the stylistic and technical features of the traditional craftmanship of the so called Capodimonte porcelain, Sibania has produced porcelain since 1980.

Starting from this tradition, characterized by exceptional manual skill, we have then tried to integrate a continuous innovation, but keeping unchanged the handcrafted and the italian craftmanship as a benchmark.

We attempted to combine a great attention to the artisan workshop tradition, as it developed for centuries, to an accurate research on materials, one of our aims being a constant innovation of the product with the respect of human health: we only use non toxic materials, free from lead, cadmium or other health dangerous compounds.

After the Capodimonte porcelain experience, we can proudly say that since the mid-80s Sibania has been a leading company.

In the italian production of porcelain dolls. Indeed, since the 80s we have been producing, on our own particular models, the bisquit components for the most important artisan workshops and companies that were producing porcelain dolls in Italy.

In 1998 we started the production of our figurines, small sculptures that mainly represent children. From one point of view we constantly kept in mind the productive techniques of finishing and decoration acquired during the Capodimonte experience, and from another point of view we introduced new stylistic and technical methods.

The unique and peculiar techniques we use and the prevalent use of manual skills, allow us to say that our pieces are unique pieces.

These figurines want to be the representation of a world, the childhood world, full of emotions and that produces feelings in those who come into contact with it; we believe that the purity of porcelain makes this material a most suitable one for the artistic representation of children's innocence and purity.

For the realization of these sculptures the traditional techniques are the starting point for a more innovative and contemporary representation, as actual and contemporary is the particular expressivity of our pieces.

These figurines are collectible items, but their expressivity can easily communicate a care or a message, so that from time to time they can also be expecially valuable presents.
