Product Description

The gallstones are separated from any waste product such as the bile, bile tubes and are extracted near the liver. Washed with cold water in order to remove any blood or other imperfections. They are then stored in a dark, well-air-conditioned, room, at 20°C, for two to three weeks, where they dry. In order to dry them more effectively and to avoid them sticking together, they are flipped to another side regularly. After the end of the drying process, the stones are vacuum-packed and sealed.

Gallstones(Niuhuang) are frequently used in Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) with Coptis root(Huanglian), Rhinohorn(Xijao), Animalic Musk (Shexiang), natural Indigo(Qindai), and the Ghostleafflower (Jinyinhua) in the Formula Angong Niuhuang Wan.

The stones are traded in the following specifications:

• 100% DRIED Whole stones 


• 90% Whole stone/ 10% broken stone


• 80% Whole stone/ 20% broken stone


• 70% Whole stone/ 30% broken stone


• 60% Whole stone/ 40% broken stone


• 100% Gallstone powder/sand

These stones have a natural odor of cattle, that are healthy and free from mad cow disease. We do not sell Liver stones, kidney stones, bile tubes, moldy stones, blood stones, cholesterol stones, or any form of stones from other animals.

Delivery Capacity

Delivery concerns units of 50-5000 grams per delivery. The monthly amount might vary and is orientated by season and demand.

How Do We Extract Gallstones?

STEP 1

Our cows are sacrificed in a Halal way, then we remove the Gallbladder.

STEP 2

Not all of the Gallbladders contain Gallstones, we check the Gallbladders, sometimes even 100 cows do not have any stones.

STEP 3

Bile Juice is drained then gallstones if any, will be visible

STEP 4

Gallstones will be collected in a container.

STEP 5

We rinse the gallstones with water, then we leave them to be fully dried for 4 weeks, sometimes 6 weeks of drying will be needed due to absorbed moisture.

STEP 6

We try to separate Gallstones based on their size, color, and texture, however, some will be sold as a mixture of different colors, sizes, and textures (mixed variety), based on the buyer's wish gallstones will be graded into A, B, and C.  If the buyer wishes to purchase the powder, we grind the stones several times until we get a sand type texture.

STEP 7

Our products will be available to ship worldwide after packing them based on the order we receive.
