Potassium Dichromate Technical Grade

One of the most common applications of Potassium Dichromate is as a cleaning agent in laboratories & hospitals for glassware. It is admired for having the ability to improve the density & texture of cement if mixed in precise amounts. This chemical has the molecular formula K2Cr2O7with a molar mass of 294.185 g/mole with a red-orange-colored crystalline appearance. It is also used as an oxidizing agent in various laboratory & industrial processes. Potassium Dichromate is non-hygroscopic in nature and this property makes it suitable for wet tests in analytical chemistry. It has high melting and boiling points of 398 & 5000C with water-soluble nature.
Potassium Dichromate is a common inorganic chemical reagent, most commonly used as an oxidizing agent in various laboratory and industrial applications. As with all hexavalent chromium compounds, it is acutely and chronically harmful to health.
