| ADVANTAGES | In comparison with the conventional caustic/hydrogen peroxide products: Increased treated cotton yield: CELLUPREP AF reduces excessive cotton weight loss during the scouring process by conventional caustic processes by about 3% to 5%. Increased absorbancy: Increased dye depths, levelness of dyeing. Increased softness, thereby reducing costs of softening (Yarn and knitted goods). Reduced waste water pollution: No addition of other auxiliaries like: bleach stabilizer, wetting and emulsifying agents, detergents, defoamers. Just CELLUPREP AF and Hydrogen Peroxides. Reduced neutralizing chemicals, catalases, rinses: Finished bath pH value = 8.5 ± 1 in comparison to pH of 13-14 by the caustic method. Reduced workers’ fatigue: Just weigh in CELLUPREPAF and Hydrogen Peroxides, no handling of other chemicals needed. |

| Users’ Recommendations | Dose in dissolved CELLUPREP AF into machine, run for 5 mins at below 50°C then add in Hydrogen Peroxides. Raise temperature to between 90 °C - 100 °C. Run for 40 - 60 mins. Drain, rinse once at 60 °C for 15 mins. Fill in cold, new bath, adjust pH with acetic acid to 6 - 7. Add Piscean Neutra W (0.5 g/L) then run for 10 mins, add Piscean Neutra H2 (0.5 g/L) then run for another 10 min. Add dyes & auxiliaries in same bath, continue dyeing process. |
| DESCRIPTION | CELLUPREP AF is a combined chemical product designed for the scouring and pre-treatment preparation of cotton, T/C goods prior to the dyeing and finishing processes. CELLUPREP AF in additionwith hydrogen peroxidesin a one bath processwill remove cottonmotes, breaking down pectin, lignin, natural cotton colourings, salt, waxes, ash and other cellulosic impurities before dyeing, thereby dramatically improving the evennessand absorption of dyes and auxiliaries in the dye bath. The use of CELLUPREPAF improves the reproducibility and yield of dye batches,reduces overall costs, effluent treatment and process time. |
