Company Profile

When Perry Campbell, Founder and CEO of SwissMak LLC, was attending CU Boulder (the University of Colorado) on an engineering scholarship, he built a 3d printer so he could prototype products and designs he originated. He was frustrated with the jamming problem of the hotend (the part that squirts out hot plastic). So, he designed a new high performance hotend that could print any material and never jam. He prototyped it and applied for a patent on his new technology and then set up manufacturing, selling it
through his website.

After that, Perry designed a new leading-edge technology that is set to evolve the world’s Makerspaces and small machine shops.The SwissMak combines all the functionality of both CNC lathes and CNC mills. Turning parts is quick and easy with the 16 station live tool turret, and the swiveling BT30 milling head lets you cut features at any angle. You can make any part geometry you want on a 5 axis mill-turn machine.
